Intertial frames of reference

• The principle of relativity states that:
  • Within an inertial frame of reference, there can be no experiment done to determine motion without reference to an outside frame of reference.
  • The principle of relativity only holds for inertial frames of reference
• An inertial frame of reference is one that is not accelerating. That is it's either undergoing constant velocity or no velocity.
